Located at Hippocrates, around 30 minutes south-west of Kos Town, the island's capital, Kos Ippokratis Airport (KGS) is well positioned for exploring the area. Kos Airport offers easy access to a number of popular coastal resorts, with plenty of beaches being nearby and easy to find.
Close to Antimachia, Kotronia and Pyli, Kos Airport is near to the centre of the island and lies to the north-east of Kafalos and Paradise Beach. On the eastern side of the island, the Kipriotis Village Resort is within easy driving distance, close to the beaches around Thermes.

- From Kos Town, head south through Zipari and Linopotis
- Upon reaching Linopotis, follow signs for Antimachia
- From Antimachia, follow signs for the airport

- From Kefalos, head north to Kamari and Kambos
- When you arrive at Kambos, follow signs for Antimachia
- From Antimachia, follow signs for the airport

- From Kardamena, head west to Antimachia
- When you arrive at Antimachia, follow signs for the airport

- Head west to Linopotis from Marmairi
- From Linopotis, follow signs for Antimachia
- The airport is well signposted from Antimachia
The island of Kos generally experiences free-flowing traffic conditions. However, during busy times of the day, routes to the Ippokratis Airport have the potential to become congested.
